WHAT WE NEED
The Supervisor, Product Quality is responsible for leading day-to-day quality operations within an aseptic food manufacturing environment to ensure the consistent production of safe, compliant products in strict adherence to Baldwin Richardson Foods’ Quality and Food Safety policies, regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and internal standards across the entire plant supply chain.
This role provides direct leadership to Quality Technicians and is accountable for the execution, verification, and continuous improvement of the site’s Food Safety and Quality Management Systems. The Supervisor owns the integrity and oversight of the Food Safety Plan (FSP), validated aseptic processes, preventive controls, environmental monitoring programs, GMP enforcement, product disposition decisions, audit readiness and performance, and site quality KPIs.
The Supervisor is responsible for building and sustaining a culture of accountability, sustained aseptic process control, environmental monitoring compliance, and zero-compromise food safety across all shifts.
Success in this role is measured by audit outcomes, complaint reduction, CAPA effectiveness and timely closure, hold inventory control, regulatory compliance, sustained aseptic process performance, and overall plant quality performance.
Our Production Team follows a 2-2-3 12-hour shift schedule, providing a consistent routine for work-life balance.
This opening is for our Night shift 5:45pm - 6:00am.

Week 1: Work Monday, Tuesday - Off Wednesday, Thursday - Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Off Monday, Tuesday - Work Wednesday, Thursday - Off Friday, Saturday, Sunday
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws for Quality Assurance team
- Conducts root cause analysis and utilizes other quality /problem solving techniques to resolve quality issues including product holds, customer complaints, and GMP’s issues
- Tracks and reports metrics used to define performance that are aligned with company objectives
- Analyzes trends to understand performance opportunities and develops plan to close gaps
- Engages in non-conforming material process to ensure product is segregated and dispositioned
- Partners with Production, Sanitation, and Warehousing Departments to ensure GMP’s and preventive controls are followed
- Creates and provides training to BRF team members on quality and food safety as needed
- Supports plants’ readiness for governmental, 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits (including SQF)
- Performs internal audits in production and storage areas and on procedures, policies and programs
- Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and provides guidance on system improvements and staff training
- Identifies areas to reduce waste, rework, and other inefficiencies with a focus on continuous process improvement
- Uses statistical tools to create and assess processes and track progress of quality programs
- Reviews adherence to budget on a monthly basis
- Acts as primary representative for all QA lab equipment and calibration of plant scales and balances
- Acts as a backup for Compliance Analyst, Quality Analyst or Quality Technician as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or closely related scientific field required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of direct experience in food safety and quality within a regulated food manufacturing environment required.
- At least 1 year of prior supervisory experience required
- Experience in Aseptic Processing and Packaging of Low Acid food hermetically sealed containers is strongly preferred.
