WHAT WE NEED
Ensure equipment and machinery are cleaned in a safe and efficient manner based on the production schedule and in compliance with approved health and sanitation practices. Possess the ability to demonstrate the capability to run the entire circuit across all lines at their assigned facility and demonstrate knowledge of Kosher and/or Allergen processes.
Our Production team follows a 2-2-3, 12-hour shift schedule, providing a consistent routine for a work-life balance.
This opening is for our Day Shift 5:45am-6:00pm.
Sample 2-2-3 Schedule:
Week 1: Work Monday, Tuesday- Off Wednesday, Thursday- Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Off Monday, Tuesday- Work Wednesday, Thursday- Off Friday, Saturday, Sunday
WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Perform cleaning circuits, set up, and perform pipe swings; monitor CIP circuits and document parameters.
- Maintain chemical equipment and deliver chemicals as requested.
- Clean drains, traps, and caps per cleaning schedule and as required.
- Perform standardized cleaning procedures with caustic and cleaning chemicals; complete parts changeover as needed.
- Inspect all areas to ensure AIB standards are met and notify management of any concerns unable to be resolved.
- Monitor/Inspect Color Code program for buckets and cleaning tools.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Depending on facility:
- Check to ensure proper chlorine levels at coolers.
- Assist with monitoring for pest control.
- Perform cream tank receiving, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Complete MSS as assigned for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks in RedZone.
- Depending on facility, perform Kosher boil-outs as scheduled.
- Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- High School Diploma or GED
- LO/TO, Chemical, HACCP, HECP, and Chemical training is required
- Previous experience working with chemicals is preferred.
- Proficient in assembling pumps, mills, and piping configurations (including the manual cleaning process at Lee Road South).
- Forklift and Scissor lift training required for chemical transport and overhead tasks.
- A continuous learning and improvement mindset is a must; there are many opportunities to learn and develop at BRF, but the individual needs to be motivated to engage in those opportunities.
- Willingness to offer suggestions on ways to improve assigned work in a one-on-one or small group setting.

- Work in a manufacturing environment, which includes fluctuations in heat, moisture, and noise.
- Wear Food Manufacturing GMP Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - hard hat, hairnet (head and beard if applicable), steel-toed shoes/boots, face mask, no facial piercings, false eyelashes, or fake fingernails.
- Ability to wear additional PPE while completing the CIP circuit, including but not limited to chemical suits, boots, and face shield.
