WHAT WE NEED
The Aseptic Filler Operator is vital to the success of our production function. A successful individual will have efficient monitoring, maintenance and operation of the assigned filler (Procomac filler) and pasteurizer for quality output and maintenance support skills.
Our Production team follows a 2-2-3, 12-hour shift schedule, providing a consistent routine for work-life balance.
Shift 5:45am - 6:00pm
Sample 2-2-3 Schedule:
Week 1: Work Monday, Tuesday - Off Wednesday, Thursday - Work Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Off Monday, Tuesday - Work Wednesday, Thursday - Off Friday, Saturday, Sunday
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Operator filler to include set-up, operation, change overs and troubleshooting to detect product (raw or finished) defects or filler malfunctions, adjusting as necessary.
- Observe filler operation to detect product defects.
- Observe pasteurizer operation to detect product defects.
- Maintain GMP (good housekeeping) standards at and around filler and pasteurizer.
- Perform SOP’s for assigned filler, pasteurizer and area.
- Work in a safe manner, consistent with company safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain good attendance record per company policy.
- Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in a heavy, high speed, industry manufacturing environment - required.
- Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions, and reasoning.
- Ability to use basic hand tools (knife, pumps, and scales).
- Previous experience as a machine operator.
- Lock Out/Tag Out Trained.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather, skid resistant work shoes/boots.
- Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions and reasoning.
- Ability to use various hand tools (knife, water house, band cutters, can opener, scales Telnet scanners, various hand tolls, as required for position/product testing).
- A continuous learning, and improvement, mindset is a must; there are many opportunities to learn and develop at BRF, but the individual needs to be motivated to engage in those opportunities.
- Effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations.

- English fluency required to successfully speak, read, write, and comprehend and give directions in English and communicate with other employees in English as part of regular job duties.
- Constant exposure to extreme loud noises; high places and near moving mechanical parts; standing and moving by foot; extreme hot/cold (non-weather) environment.
- Frequent lifting/carrying <50 pounds, reaching and use of fingers.
- Environment is wet, slippery, and has continuous forklift traffic.
- Handle and work with potentially dangerous equipment and chemicals.
- Frequent reaching/pulling/bending/climbing stairs/stooping/kneeling/bending.
