WHAT WE NEED

At BRF, we are accelerating strategic growth and operational excellence through rapid expansion, successful customer partnerships, and an influx of new opportunities. We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager who can help turn this momentum into sustainable long-term success by leading complex, high-impact initiatives that enable scale, efficiency, customer value, and disciplined execution across the enterprise.

In this role, you will lead end-to-end project execution for an expanding customer base while also driving internal optimization, product commercialization, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a critical connector between technology, innovation, engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, commercial teams, and senior leadership, translating strategic direction into executable plans and portfolio-level visibility.

We are looking for a growth-minded, proactive problem-solver with strong strategic, analytical, and execution capabilities. This individual will be comfortable owning complex project lifecycles from both an internal and client-facing lens, bringing structure to ambiguity, influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority, and delivering measurable outcomes that support BRF’s long-term business objectives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead high-impact, enterprise-wide projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, customer commitments, and long-term growth priorities.
  • Accountable for successful project delivery by proactively managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, resources, milestones, escalations, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, phase/gate milestones, governance structures, execution strategies, reporting cadences, and performance metrics across cross-functional teams.
  • Manage complex project and commercialization portfolios, ensuring the appropriate stakeholders are engaged and that impacts to manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, packaging, quality, engineering, and operations are identified, understood, and mitigated.
  • Anticipate, identify, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints; escalate critical concerns with clear recommendations, decision options, and proposed paths forward.
  • Facilitate effective decision-making by providing timely, accurate, actionable project and portfolio insights, analysis, and recommendations to senior and executive leadership.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve project governance frameworks, standards, methodologies, documentation, tools, and best practices.
  • Champion continuous improvement by evaluating business and project processes, implementing enhancements, automating manual workflows, supporting digital applications, and driving adoption of project management best practices and tools.
  • Collaborate across business functions to translate strategic direction into executable plans, align priorities, resolve constraints, and ensure visibility to cross-enterprise dependencies.
  • Serve as a connector between functional leads, technology teams, commercialization partners, manufacturing teams, and senior leadership to ensure project execution supports enterprise priorities.
  • Coach and mentor project managers, junior team members, functional leaders, and cross-functional partners on project management principles, governance, systems thinking, collaboration, and execution excellence.
  • Scale delivery capabilities in step with organizational growth by proactively identifying opportunities to mature internal workflows, expand project ownership, and strengthen enterprise project management capabilities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, supply chain, engineering, operations, or related field; non-related education may be considered with applicable experience.

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, operations, project management, or related field.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5+) years of direct project management experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation, including high-stakes initiatives, project governance, risk management, and resource planning.
  • Minimum of eight (8+) years of progressive professional experience in project management, operations, engineering, business transformation, product commercialization, supply chain, or related functions, with a portion of the experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience successfully managing project schedules, budgets, milestones, escalations, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations for internal operational, customer-facing, and commercialization projects.
  • Proven track record in strategic project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, executive stakeholder engagement, and influencing teams without direct authority.
  • Experience leading or collaborating with multiple functions, including commercial teams, R&D, manufacturing, engineering, EHS, quality, supply chain, procurement, packaging, technology, innovation, and operations.
  • Experience implementing, administering, or improving complex programs, portfolios, phase/gate processes, PLM systems, reporting standards, or project management tools.
  • A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to seek solutions, optimize processes, adapt through ambiguity, and embrace rapid organizational change.

Preferred Experience:

  • PMP or PgMP certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or continuous improvement experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project, portfolio/project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based PLM software platforms.
